Hey friends,
I owe you a small apology for the delay in this week’s update. I’ve been deep in the trenches with Moon Rising, working through my first round of edits, and let me tell you, it’s been intense, exhilarating, and just a little bit chaotic.
The manuscript is evolving. I’ve been cutting, reshaping, and polishing scenes that I thought were finished, only to realize they had more to say. Characters are speaking louder, the pacing is tightening, and the story is starting to breathe in a whole new way.
This is all in preparation for something exciting: sending the book out to my beta readers. I want to make sure they get the best version possible, something that feels alive, coherent, and ready to be challenged.
So, if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been or why things have been quiet, that’s the reason. I’ve been working hard behind the scenes, and I’m so grateful for your patience.
Next week, I’ll share more about what’s changed in the story, what I’ve learned from the editing process, and how you can still sign up to be a beta reader if you’re interested.
Thanks for sticking with me. The moon is rising, and we’re getting closer.
