Still here. Still waiting. My beta readers are deep in the trenches with the manuscript, and I’m hovering like an anxious crow on a fence post, ready to swoop in with the final round of edits the moment their notes land in my inbox. Patience is a virtue… allegedly.
In the meantime, I’ve started squirreling away funds for the next big step: a proper book cover. Something striking. Something worthy. Something that doesn’t look like I slapped it together in MS Paint at 2 a.m. Good covers aren’t cheap, but they are worth it, so the saving begins.
